Glass magnets for AFECTU

AFECTU - Associação dos Felinos E Caninos Todos Unidos is an associacion of people who care about animals in the Aveiro area. A few days ago it was assaulted, vandalized and some of the animals were harmed.

These little magnets were my small contribution to raise some money so that AFECTU can continue providing shelter to homeless animals.

Black is cool

Crochet fingerless gloves, done in a very stretchy fantasy stitch. They tie at the elbow with satin ribbon.

Finally done! It only took 17 years to finish! (ok, since I'm always changing moods I only did a bit on the holidays!) It's now in my living room and I love it! It measures 1m by 21 cm.

This was lent to me by a friend and I'm sorry but I CAN'T SEND IT TO YOU.

A more romantic room

My new room needed a bit more of a personal touch, so I made this from some old curtains, ribbons and beads.

Slowly things are falling into place, now I only need to do something about the 3 other walls! :)

Tiny purse

I just love that stitch, it forms a really cute wavy relief. This is really small, just enough to hold the cell phone or card holder.

Like I had promised, I got back to ribbon embroidery. I absolutely love the combination of the rough burlap with the delicate silk ribbons.

Olive oil soap - cinnamon

Hot process cinnamon soaps, smell marvellously of cinnamon and are slightly exfoliating.
