Olive oil soap - green apple

Handmade olive oil soaps, highly moisturising, green apple scent. They smell so good, this time even my kitty had to sniff them! :)

Wedding gift

Wedding gift suggestion. Olive oil soap wrapped in organza, with organza ribbons, flower and golden card (had to hand write it because my printer decided to crash!).

Olive oil soaps - neutral and strawberry

Pure olive oil soaps. They don't contain any animal fats. The neutral ones have no scent or colourant, they're great for moisturising skin but also for needle felting. The strawberry ones, obviously, contain scent and a bit of colourant.

Olive oil soap - cinnamon

Hot process cinnamon soaps, smell marvellously of cinnamon and are slightly exfoliating.

Olive oil soap - chocolate

Another experience making cold process soap, this took a heavy dose of black chocolate and just a bit too much water.

Olive oil soap - neutral

I'm having lots of fun making this 100% olive oil cold process soaps. My family owns century old olive trees and has been making olive oil for generations. which mean that for me olive oil is actually a base ingredient to which I have easy access.

Maybe I should have used a bit more water because it didn't exactly conform to the shape of the yoghurt cup I used, but I think it actually adds to its rustic charm. :)

Olive oil soap - big and small

100% olive oil cold process soaps made in yoghurt cups. I think they look really cute!

Olive oil soap

Not as pretty as those for the supermarket but being my first try at making cold process soaps it's not bad I think. 100% olive oil.

Olive oil soap - tutti-frutti pie

Cold process soap pie!

So, it was my best friend's birthday and I had ordered a nice gift for her, which isn't that simple since I've known her forever and I've given her just about anything I know she likes and that I can afford. This time I had ordered some fabric to make her a top or vest but when it got here someone stole it from my mail box and left only the empty package. I was obviously pissed and again with no present for her. So I remembered the olive oil my family produces, the soaps my grandma made from them and my chemistry lessons. This is the result! :)
